Camp
The camp has been the best part of Galileo so far. The caving was enjoyable and it really tested me. I enjoyed the shower as I was so muddy and it cleared off the rest of the leeches. The leeches were a pain especially since I wore shorts on the first day. I had many funny and scary experiences on the camp for example when a possum was banging against our tent. However, my tent group, John and I got through them which has made us stronger people.
I didn’t dramatically improve on any of my learning goals but overall all my skills and qualities have gotten better. My view on the Yarra River has changed slightly. I now realise how bad it is to litter as it wrecks the Yarra. You can see this when you compare the Yarra in the CBD to the one in Warburton as the one in the CBD was much dirtier.
Hi Jack
I’m glad you liked camp so much, it is very fun & challenging. Sounds like you had a fun filled night wrestling with possums, so glad you had Yusuf & Gera to protect you !!

Hi Jack
Also, while you are away in Germany it would be great if you could keep a track of the homework on the Team Galileo blog & complete the 3rd & final critical question. Also you will need to prepare for your student led conference which I plan to hold in week 1of Term 3. I will contact your parents to let them know and they can make an appointment to come in & hear of all your efforts this term.
You can see what the requirements of the student led conference are at:

bye
jane 🙂
Just remembered that you said you are continuing on traveling with your family after Germany so we won’t be able to schedule the student led conference in week 1, Term 3 😦
